Meh. If you're good enough to win the weight you'll beat whomever they put in your path. Same as it's always been.

If Ferrari is healthy, he's good enough. I picked McEnelly at the start of the year and sticking with that. Problem is you have to beat PSU and the Ref's to do it, so uphill climb for the field in every weight class.

He had a tough run in the national duals and came through. Agreed though, nothing like hitting Sinclair and then McEnally the next morning.

Angelo could very well win this weight. He has not been taken down and is very hard to ride. He will be in wars decided by the thinnest of margins against the other elite guys in the weight. Everyone didn't claim he would be a 4 timer. Most rational people believe the talent is there but he (like anyone) would need some breaks to pull it off. Health is the first good break. I give him the exact same chances as the other top 4 except he and Sinclair have very tough paths with each other coming early. Rocco has a much easier path than the other three, but I will favor whoever comes out of the bottom side to beat him. I think whoever wins between Angelo and Sinclair is going to win this bracket.

I’m not sure how you give him the same chance as the other top four. They should all be in better cardio than Angelo. He also, apparently, is nursing two injuries at present? I’m afraid there’s more chance that he med forfeits out than wins it all.

if Ferrari can finish a takedown against elite guys, he can win. Hopefully he’s been working with a private coach the last couple weeks.

I didn't know he had two injuries. His cardio looked surprisingly good imo. Nobody wants to run into him on the front side for certain.

We were told he defaulted out of the conference tournament due to a shoulder injury, I’m thinking?
