I mean, I can’t believe I’m about to say this. Is he going to play any better than Garrison has played the first two games? Is he going to score 17 points or block 5 shots after missing 90% of the season? If you get the St. John’s version then sure. Play him 10-15 minutes. But that’s a huge ask against Florida’s front line.

He’s not going to play at all, at least not until the summer league for whatever NBA team is stupid enough to draft him. But I think his defense gives him a decent enough floor to be better than BG in a truly miraculous situation where he decides to play. BG gets eaten alive by Florida bigs.

Yeah there was some smoke, but as we see with Kam, a player who actually wanted to return that if he wanted to play he probably already would be. How much more rest could he need for swelling? If his knee is still this bad after this long period of rest he needs more surgery. If he doesn’t have one and plays in the summer league he is FOS. I know which way I lean.

I do not anticipate him returning to play this season.
Right now, it appears uncertain whether he will come back to play next year for Kentucky.
Right now, I'd say tomorrow is more likely than next season, but again, i hope I'm wrong.
It'd be nice if Pope signed him to a "pending injury" two year deal. I doubt it but he could potentially be the number 1 overall next year, where this draft is loaded. Between that and his injury, he may fall to late 1st round in this draft.
Peterson has hurt his draft stock too, IMHO.

He is not coming back to Kentucky, daddy has already made it known that he doesn't like the way he was played. If he doesn't go pro, there are others that will pay him big money and take a chance like Pope did. His dad never showed anything but disrespect for Pope, who gave his son 2+ million and took a chance on him. That sucks.

I sure hope not, and it would be the most ill advised decision in CBB history. I think I dislike this guy more than Shaedon Sharpe for obvious reasons, and am ready for him to disappear into obscurity.

It would ruin any flow we have and I honestly think it would only serve him and his NBA future

Let him sit on the bench and watch his stock continue to plummet.

I don’t agree with him fleecing us for two mil knowing he wouldn’t play most likely but that absolutely falls on Mitch the nerd and his JMI cronies and pope. Hell I’d take the money too if offered.
as for the Shaedon sharpe comment, this doesn’t compare at all. SS was a POS that knew exactly what he was doing and used Kentucky. I don’t and won’t ever consider him a Kentucky basketball player

Yep. Not sure why anyone would fault the kid. I hope he does play and is instrumental in taking down Florida.
If he is in fact able to play and has not for whatever reason I don’t like him either. I’m just going to assume he is still hurt and think the best of him . IF HE GAS REFUSED TO PIAY BECAUSE OF ADVICE FROM ADVISORS WVEN THOUGH HE IS READY, HE NEEDS TO GET RID OF THISE ADVISORS EVEN IF THEY ARE FAMILY . THEY HAVE COST HIM MULTIMILLIONS .

Wouldn’t they have had to already list him as day to day or something? I didn’t think they could just roll him out like a surprise witness taking the stand.
