I was thinking this is the easiest poll ever until I saw FIFA in Group B. Tough call, but I would have to pick A.

NFL playoffs is the only watchable thing in B.

The most confusing thing to me about soccer viewership is soccer is growing while baseball is supposedly shrinking as sports entertainment in the USA. I always hear that Baseball is just boring to the younger generations. It is too slow, not enough action, etc. Soccer is always moving but the action can be extremely limited. Scoring opportunities in competitive matches are very rare in soccer. If you can be excited about the bulk of a soccer match which is the ball moving back and forth in the middle of the field, that is the same as each individual pitch in a baseball game. A bunch of motion with spots of action.

A. Since college football is the top for me. Masters is a nice bonus and I can handle the others, they are at least interesting to me.

I would miss the NFL playoffs, and I used to like the Dance, but now that they are taking away from CBS thus killing the traditional theme, I don't care any more. NBA/FIFA - I have zero interest.

Soccer goals are roughly as common as touchdowns in football. Average NFL game has 5 TDs in 3 hours, or 1 per 36 minutes. Average soccer game has 3 goals in 2 hours, or 1 per 33 minutes. Sure there's lots of other action in an NFL game if you understand it. Same with soccer.

Easy answer: B

Both pro and college basketball & NFL >>>> All of A

FIFA World Cup is gravy for B

A. The Masters nap is the best sleep I get all year. Plus, while I love everything in B and only really care about the MLB Playoffs in A, I'd never give up baseball.

Easy, A. I like soccer but can't stand international soccer. I don't watch the NBA period. The only time I would miss March Madness is if we are in it. I would miss the NFL playoffs. I always watch all four of the ones in A.

B all day. Imagine never watching March madness again. Never filling out a bracket. Plus no NFL playoffs? You’re gonna give up the Super Bowl for life? Give me a break. There are 3 other golf majors. College football is the only thing in A that would be hard to give up.

This is a great question BTW.

Masters is one for me, but NFL, March Madness, World Cup are 2-4 on this list. For that reason I took B.

College Football Playoffs
March Madness
NFL Playoffs
Masters
MLB Playoffs
NBA Playoffs
Stanley Cup NHL
FIFA

I really have zero interest in NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, & FIFA.

Yes.

I think what’s confusing to some is you may not have played it growing up. But younger generations have. There is a lot going on off the ball. I’ve always loved that the players on the field have to constantly adjust on their own— there’s no coach in your ear every play telling you what to do. No timeouts- all you have are maybe some injury timeouts (and yes, while I hate flopping- many of those are strategic). I love reading what’s going on.

I also love watching baseball, though. Honestly, the older I get, the less I like watching football. So drawn out. Timeouts for literally everything. Takes like 3 hours to play 60 minutes.

One reason I like soccer is that while, yeah, some games can be pretty boring, many can be very exciting even if the score is low. But there's very little standing around with nothing going on like in football or baseball, and there's no time outs.

You could do NFL Playoffs versus everything else and I'd take the NFL.

Only thing that would change my sentiment would be if MSU were guaranteed to be in the playoffs.

I agree with Bruce with the exception being if our men's basketball team were ever competitive enough to make another march run. That would bring some balance to the choices.

The good news is for A you only have to subscribe to Peacock, Paramount, Amazon Prime Video, MLB, and NBC Sports. For B you have to pay for NFL Network Plus, ESPN, HULU, Disney Plus, and HBO. Who could pass up just doing both?

State getting good at college basketball is the only way I could really watch it. The drop off from the pros to NCAA in basketball is way more painful than football or baseball.

For me it CFB vs NFL. I’ll more likely watch NFL over CFB if there’s no teams playing I care about. State isn’t making the playoffs so that makes it easier.

I watch the Master’s from the rooty-to-the-tooty. Finally attended in person last April. It was all I expected and more.

The World Cup is a must. I could actually go without the CFP since we are never in it anyway. Not being able to watch another World Cup would make my skin crawl.
