Wes did great things before he left for Cinci with multiple NCAA and NITs the last 4-5 years he was in the G. Jones kept them a winning team until this year, but couldnt get postseason births. Im guessing admin saw that as not meeting the standard set.

As far as Neal, I have no clue if he stays committed or not. Ive see someone mention would he be open to decommit and go somewhere that offered both sports, and he could but it wouldnt be to play football as football was never an option he was going to pick

Will be interesting to see what happens. Football teams for the most part have their rosters set, so not sure being so late in the game how that could work. Basketball is wide open. Ill make an uneducated guess and say App State, but would love to see a bigger school smartly swoop in.

I’ll throw in high point as well. I could see unc Charlotte coming in as well. They got jariel and are on Kadence Pruitt now. Could see them making a pitch for both.

Fortunately for Dione the portal mess will work in his favor. Every position is pretty much wide open now except for the football QBs who have already signed for the big $$$$. Likewise for the big name basketball portal guys.

I know several big time football programs wanted him to sign for football and walk on basketball but there was apparently not a lot of interest there. We'll see if that remains the same.

Hopefully he will keep focused on Friday night.

High Point would be a great fit. I wonder how many messages he has already received from schools.

Wild move on UNCG's part. They had to have known that letting go of the coach that recruited him would be risky as far as him staying committed.
But I have a question: Why does one of the top multi sports athletes to ever come out of the state of NC have so many smaller schools on his list?

He does have a lot of smaller schools.. But he does have the likes of Unc, duke and etc that are really after him for football. Who knows what new offers could come as well.
