McKinnon is 6’6 and athletic and Perry is barely 6 foot and SLOW.

Perry wasn't ran off. The guy isn't good enough to make an impact until his junior year at best.
Regarding Mackinnon, the guy spent his first two years at Elon. So I doubt he was recruited by UK.
