The thug play is on Fears and on Izzo for encouraging it by ignoring it. But it’s also on B1G officials for seemingly looking the other way and not seeing it or being afraid to call it, and on the B1G itself. The conference no doubt has the videos of Fears’ dirty play and complaints from other coaches. But it refuses to do a damn thing to sanction or publicly call out its Golden Boy coach for this kind of disgusting play.

If Fran had been the coach and an Iowa kid was pulling this crap, you know he would have been suspended and a letter put in his file.
