I’m sorry, I thought he was done. Up to 83. Second most in NBA history behind Wilt’s 100

36 Free Throws made. Next highest was 28 made by Adrian Dantley and Wilt Chamberlain. A second Wilt record has fallen.

Always a good day when one of Kobe’s achievements gets knocked down a notch
I hated Kobe with the power of a thousand suns while he was in the NBA. Then he went out of his way to thank the Celtics and their fans for how much the rivalry meant to him. Then he became like super girl dad. Then obviously the tragedy. He’s also probably the closest thing we will ever have to Jordan.

I watched Kobe several times in person against the Grizzlies and one night he was unstoppable. He was irritating and I didn’t like him but total respect for his game (I hated Jordan too but again, mad respect, he’s the goat.) That softened toward the end and how he was after his playing days until his death.

Also he took the Olympics extremely seriously. He would defend whoever was the best player for the other team and shut him down completely.

This is truly some crazy ****. I barely know who Bam Idontbuyu is.

He clearly just set the mark for most points scored above your per game average. I think Wilt was averaging about 50 a game at the time of his 100 pointer.

Closest thing to Jordan? Not sure that’s a compliment

I don't know (or care) who the best of all time is. I do know I HATED the Lakers, but Kobe was my favorite player. The Redeem Team is one of my favorite things to watch.

I wonder what the odds for Adebayo being the next to set the modern scoring record were? He’s not who I would have guessed if you gave me 50 tries.

Remind these Kobe fans that Kobe led the NBA in shots missed. Guess who is first now.... to be the scoring king you have to take and miss more than anyone as well...

Tell me you don’t watch the NBA without telling me you don’t watch the NBA.
You’re wasting your time. He’s just going to start posting gifs and YouTube videos of James Harden not playing defense. Or some video of players traveling.

It’s the tell-tale sign. The other one is when these casual college hoops fans talk about their favorite team’s best player being in the NBA. No he’s not going to last in the league. It’s ridiculously hard to stay on an NBA roster. Like PGA tour card hard or harder.

Tell me you don’t basketball without telling me you don’t know basketball. Compare today’s garbage to the 1980s hahah

Because it was more physical doesn’t mean it was better. It’s like comparing apples and oranges. Also in the 80s you didn’t have all 5 positions on the floor able to shoot, handle the ball, and pass like they do now.

Shooting is better now and passing is ELITE.

lol they don’t even attempt to play defense. You get five steps now. Dumbed down entertainment. They must be better cuz they score more points*. It’s garbage

Not serious but kinda serious I would have thought Allen Iverson but I guess he didn’t have a long enough career. Dude jacked up some shots.
There's no ME in TEAM...

Wait... Yeah there is for those guys that are obsessed with record books
