First game in 8-9 months and it's so blatantly clear that CC is the best female PG on the planet. Just unreal floor generalship, dropping dimes, accurate shooting when she looks for her shot. To not move ahead with her as the starting PG is just an exercise in ridiculousness.

The Point God, 1 assist and 2 turnovers, plus 3 points, in almost 11.75 minutes of play. .5/1 assist to turnover ratio.

CC, 12 assists and 3 turnovers(1 was a dumb hail mary attempt at the end of the game), plus 17 points, in under 20 minutes of play. 4/1 assist to turnover ratio.

It’d only take her 3.5 complete games to match the assist output that CC put up in less than half a game. She’s also have put up about 24 TOs during those 3.5 straight games if she continued at the same rate she was going today.

I kept reading on here last season that Clark couldn’t shoot anymore and her shot was broken…hmm, seemed okay to me.

Her and Copper have both been black holes though.....
I mean, Howard was named player of the game. She hit those three's but she was almost as bad as Copper who shot or drove EVERY time she touched the ball in the first half. Meanwhile Clark nearly matched Howard with 17 points and then there's those 12 assists. Hmmm...

4-5 from 3. Amazing how great she can shoot when not getting guarded 94 feet every play and getting hand checked the whole time, and actually getting some open looks in rhythm she didn’t have to create all by herself.

Hard to criticize anything Clark but.....I hope she continues to shoot 3's from the same spots on the court that she did today. Logo 3's are fun but I think her percentage would go way up if she only shot the deep 3 as a heat check.

The threat of her range stretches the defense opening up passing lanes. If she shoots just like everyone else that reduces her gravity. Plus it’s thrilling as **** watching her drain 30+ footers and watching the crowd going wild.

Rules note on FIBA. if you miss a shot but are fouled, it does not count as a missed shot. That’s why Caitlin was 4-5 instead of a shameful 4-6. Also, if you pass to someone who shoots and misses and is fouled, but at least one free throw is made, you get an assist. That’s why I missed assist number 10 which came on free throws made.*

*edited because I am dumb.

Healthy core strength and legs. This W season could be a 20+ point and 10 assist season with 5-6 rebounds and a championship kind of year.
