Honestly, I hope he takes the K-State job. He clearly wanted the Arkansas job and has seemed to be pouting ever since he didn’t get it. Flirting with another job once is understandable, but doing it twice usually means you really want out.

I also don’t think he’s built for the NIL era and the level of power players have now. The game has changed, and some coaches just aren’t wired to operate in that environment.

3 years ago, I would have said let's lock him down. Now, I agree with this. He's just not an offensive savant and won't hire anyone that is either. It's gonna be a crap show next year whether its him or the new guy.

If this is what you are referencing - he really didn't say any of that. He was saying he was unsure how many of the media were coming down to cover the SEC tournament and thanked them for their professional coverage of a crappy basketball team throughout the season.
