I am not seeing anything promising on this front. I haven’t been following recruiting the last few months though.
BAU waste all that effort to comeback in regulation, only to go back to lazy defensive effort and slow, deliberate accomplish nothing offense in OT.
Had Combs not gotten fouled at the end when he made 1 of 2, I could see people arguing that it was a poor rushed decision, but at least he was looking to attack, looking to be aggressive, and most importantly making a QUICK F***ING DECISION instead of this pretending we're being methodical bullsh**............

Losing streak is irrelevant. Committee doesn’t consider how a team finishes. It’s all about the overall resume and comparison.
10 & 20 pre-BTT wins, with an MVC roster, is a good accomplishment.

They'll keep us in the 8/9 game as a punishment.
I honestly think the committee is starting to pick up on this and will view the 8/9 game as more of a punishment (because you then have to play a 1 if you win) as opposed to teams trying to escape that seed line by losing (even though "unintentionally")..........

Zero urgency shown in OT. Ran our offense like we were up by 10 with 30 seconds remaining. Mind-boggling they never set a ball screen for Stirtz.
The first 2 or 3 possessions they funneled everything to/through Combs.

Just because a kid gets hot, you don't put the whole game in his hands (if he isn't Stirtz).
They don't really set ball screens for Stirtz. They're all slip screens or just instances where guys like Cam will stand in front of the defender, kinda slide with him while Bennett casually strolls right or left, and then release out of boredom after about 4-5 seconds.

If we lose our first game this week I can guarantee you our seed won't be the same as it would have been if we would have won one or two of these last few games. So yes...how you finish does matter.

Did seem like he did ALOT of nothing in the game, just giving it up everytime he touched the ball.
We led by at least 10 in the 2nd half and ***** slapped you in overtime.
His shots were wide open, though. We were playing Hoiberg so tight that he drove past us again and then Foolsgold felt the need to come help off a guy who hasn't missed a shot all game. In some of our close losses, we've been getting beat off the dribble by PGs repeatedly for easy kickouts. We should only be doing that if they've been killing us from 3. Hoiberg wasn't. Back off of him.
We lost Sandfort too many times off their screen action. All he's doing is sprinting the baseline past two screeners, that high guy just needs to come off their screener and meet him out there. Everyone thinks they need to be glued to their assignment, that's not defense.
