Iowa has a good team but UCLA is just on another level. We struggle with pressure and UCLA is better shooting 3's than we are at layups. Hopefully this a wakeup call before the tournament
Iowa shooting inside like they are expecting every shot to get blocked.
If the coaching staff was truly wanting them to force it inside for this game this loss is on them, not the players. Need to hit some outside shots to hopefully open things up inside first.

The most glaring issue long term is that Ava, by all accounts an all American type player, can be rendered ineffective against a team like UCLa.
What was Betts thinking on that? All she has to do is stay straight up and she has a good chance of blocking it
Hope it’s a wake-up call for next years roster. Hit the portal hard for guards that knows passing fundamentals. Getting an assistant coach who can teach it would be a plus.

Kylie needs to start throwing up some 3s if she's gonna get 30+ minutes in this game. Offensively its 5 vs 4 whenever she's on the court
This is a Jan issue. She is not good at in game adjustments, which is why she will NOT bring Iowa back to an elite level.
Man, we really needed the seniors to play like seniors but Hannah and Kylie have been just terrible. 0-6 with 5 turnovers is a recipe for what saw that first half.
With how physical the game was yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me if their legs are shot.

Yup. Iowa is Michigan's kryptonite, and UCLA is Iowa's. I really thought Iowa would come out with some swagger, but instead they came out timid, and this is the result. The game was over almost before it began. Oh well. Try to learn something and try to make sure you don't play timid in the NCAA. Make a run there, and this game means nothing.
