Yeah. At least have to change between zone and man to give them looks. Can't play zone

Hope it’s a wake-up call for next years roster. Hit the portal hard for guards that knows passing fundamentals. Getting an assistant coach who can teach it would be a plus.Iowa has a good team but UCLA is just on another level. We struggle with pressure and UCLA is better shooting 3's than we are at layups. Hopefully this a wakeup call before the tournament
Would help if the other players could make some shots to loosen up the defense in the paint. The most glaring issue long term is that Ava, by all accounts an all American type player, can be rendered ineffective against a team like UCLa.
I am going to say no. I think UCLA loses in the final four.going out on a limb here and guessing it will be UConn vs UCLA for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Not many teams "like UCLA".The most glaring issue long term is that Ava, by all accounts an all American type player, can be rendered ineffective against a team like UCLa.
agreed if game plan was to force it inside the coaching staff has lost it as they are bigger at every positionIf the coaching staff was truly wanting them to force it inside for this game this loss is on them, not the players. Need to hit some outside shots to hopefully open things up inside first.
Matched up on the unanimous big 10 player/defender of the year, highly likely she will be the national player of the year. The most glaring issue long term is that Ava, by all accounts an all American type player, can be rendered ineffective against a team like UCLa.
I didn't know, pretty risky.....going out on a limb here and guessing it will be UConn vs UCLA for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
100% - Iowa needs to dish out serious NIL numbers if it wants to get back to the final four, otherwise this is what we will get.plus, living in LA can't be all bad
she has and is a terrible shot, she throws the ball at the basketFor someone who misses a lot of inside shots, Hannah sure retreats down the floor like she thinks it's going in.
This is a Jan issue. She is not good at in game adjustments, which is why she will NOT bring Iowa back to an elite level.agreed if game plan was to force it inside the coaching staff has lost it as they are bigger at every position

Better for sure, but UCLA shooting 60%. Can't last tho'.Well, Hawks cut down on turnovers in 2nd quarter.
and shooting % now much improved: up to 25% now.
Looking for positives here….
With how physical the game was yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me if their legs are shot.We got away with sleepwalking through the first three quarters yesterday. Not going to do that today.
A sign of tired legs perhaps, or a sign of being tight . . . maybe both.all of our shots are WAY short
No because Iowa struggles to guard good ball movement. UCLA is one of the best teams at sharing the rock.Better for sure, but UCLA shooting 60%. Can't last tho'.
Ya they’re lookin real tired right nowWith how physical the game was yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me if their legs are shot.
Yup. Iowa is Michigan's kryptonite, and UCLA is Iowa's. I really thought Iowa would come out with some swagger, but instead they came out timid, and this is the result. The game was over almost before it began. Oh well. Try to learn something and try to make sure you don't play timid in the NCAA. Make a run there, and this game means nothing.Playing scared. Settle down.
