SEC mostly pretty average this year too.
Don’t know ANY Kentucky fans who think everything is fine. I’ve never met anyone who wants to lose double digit games or be the 9th best team in conference. Was this something someone said? If so, who?

Sadly he's not the only one. I don't think it's the majority by any means. But sadly, they are loud and victims of a personality cult. And it's not just about Pope. Its about all those saying "Patience" and "Well, Cal wasn't that bad huh?!"

Idk man. I don’t know if that person is a troll or anything, but based on that single comment — I don’t see an issue there. He is just saying the sky isn’t falling and even says it isn’t up to Kentucky standards. Guy sounds reasonable. If he said, this year is fine — I’d be sounding off about it. I also understand fans being frustrated and not wanting to hear that we aren’t as bad as some fans say when we are playing Wednesday in the SECT. I just think this comes back to some people always saying not to tell other fans how to fan, but as soon as a fan doesn’t paint everything in an even worse light than it is, all those same people tell them they can’t fan like that.
This year — far below Kentucky standards and unacceptable

This year — we aren’t as good or as bad as fans feel like after wins or losses

Yes it is. Name an SEC team this year that you felt we had no shot against - even with our lousy team. Just Bama and UF, right? Rest of the conference is wildly inconsistent.
It's the worst conference record we've had in decades. We're playing on Wednesday. We have ZERO prospects.
Barring a run, there's not much to be excited about right now.
You realize that's a self dig right? If the conference is as bad as you say it is, then we're one of the worst teams in the country.

We don't have a "lousy" team. My god.
The SEC is one of the best conferences in college bball yet again this season. Your comment about teams we felt no shot against is only because it's not as top heavy as it was last year. UF might be the only title contender this season from the SEC. But that doesn't really change the fact there's a bunch of very good teams in the conference.

Do you use your eyes or do you use analytics? I know a certain head coach that uses analytics.
I very well aware. The numbers say otherwise on your other point. And the conference will probably get 10-12 teams in . The only other conference with any decency is BigXII. The rest are very top heavy.
We were willing to pay as much as anyone for players and have as much tradition as any CBB program with unmatched fan support and finished 10-8 in the SEC. Something is terribly wrong in Lexington. The next AD must address this problem.
