This team is so bad my god. Someone will tell me but their KenPom metrics are good! At some point the eye test matters… cmon
Honestly it’s stupid Clayton doesn’t play more. This team has lousy guards and is lousy at shooting and he is a guard who can shoot. You don’t have to be a genius coaching mind to figure out that’s good.
Horrible start. Last turnover exempted offensive ineptness though they’ve recovered somewhat from their 2 point start that lasted forever.
I can’t wait for the stories to come out after we lose on Tuesday about how bad the chemistry was all this year and how Page and Reid were the culprits. A few of you will be owing me an apology…
Lucky to be down “only” by 10 at the half with Minny shooing 69%. (Coulda been 8 w/o the stupid foul with 2 secs to go.) Minny has to cool off in the 2nd, too many of our shots clanking short off the rim.
Thank God the Multi-view spilt screen. At least the WBC has completely turned around. Talent matters.
Honestly they’ve played a lot better since the opening 8 minutes or so, but neither of these teams is very good and starting down 18-2 has Mrs Lincoln vibes to it

Just find a way to lose. Missed free throws at the end were a killer. And another shouka/coulda.
As much as I love Nick he's missed clutch FTs at ends of games multiple times this year. Ugh.
No defense, missed 1-1 by Mart, no defense again, deep pull-up three attempt by Mart, deep pull-up three attempt from Mart. This sequence was just poorly coached and poorly executed by our star. Been a lot of these this losing season.
Yeah, that was odd. I was expecting something more like the shot he made to beat Oregon at the buzzer. Why jack up a three at that point?
Yes, he’s been hard of himself for poor leadership, and unfortunately while he’s had some good results in a few games, he’s also been the culprit in at least as many losses.
And extremely deep pull-up threes while not even to move the ball or probe their interior defense.
I love Martinelli but geez he's missed a lot of big crunch time free throws over the past couple years.
Down 1, do you take a 3-point shot with 1/3 chance of going in and hope for an offensive rebound, or do you get it in the paint for a shot with 1/2 chance to go in and the potential for a shooting foul? Hmm...
I hate the defense when we were up 3. Give up a dunk within seconds while we're still in the one and one? That was atrocious. A foul would've put them in the one and one and Hughes is a lousy foul shooter.
If you were going to shoot a 3, West and Clayton had the hotter hands this evening.
And I can understand the shot if they had left him open. If they give him the open shot, he has to take it. But he wasn't open.
