My family had a tree fall on our lakehouse during COVID. They happened to be friends with someone whose church charity appears to just be "fixing the lake houses of rich people who don't think poor people deserve to have nice things." When they told me about it I was just like "wow, how fortunate that this worked out for you!." They said "no, this is just how things are supposed to work." So they deserve a cheap rebuild of their vacation property because they know the right people and poor people should have just had better connections or something.
I simply asked a question. So you support 1) the city going further into debt and/or 2) taking more money from hard-working taxpayers to pay for free childcare for people who are not here legally?

As for the airport, it was fellow travelers hanging out at the bar being cool to my son. I didn't ask them to buy flights or tickets or drinks or go into debt in exchange for his happiness. That was all me.

your basic premise might be incorrect..If a person is in the country illegally he/she are not allowed to work lawfully in the US. Per AI:

So, if they legally can't work, they can't be paying taxes and both parents, or at least one of them, should be able to take care of the kids.
So if someone illegally in the US is violating one law, is working in the US, he/she is violating a second law.

Socialism at Its very core. Make everyone poor except the elite few at the top. It's history is so appealing. Folks should check it out. Everyone can be poor.
