McDuffie's gotten a couple of sliders called strikes at the bottom of the zone that looked a lot like that inning-ending K from Glauber - suppose it's consistent, then
Carter French Sac fly brings in Cooper and UNC takes a 2-0 lead
We really need Gavin to get going if Schaffner is going to be out....

He is in a bit of a funk. I have no doubt he’ll get out of it sooner than later though. We need Schaffner to heal up fast though.
Paulsen and Cooper have been very good at corner infield spots.
Especially Paulsen, I have not enjoyed watching a first base nearly as much as Paulsen in recent years

For clarification on Schaffner....he wanted to play today but with the long season Forbes wanted to keep him back for a game

Heads up....with basketball coming fast, and Grace has duties there..., but not much nugget work for this one.......Forbes told me Monday he had a list of guys that needed to pitch, and that's been accomplished.
Schaffner - as we said earlier, wanted to play today but held out by Forbes.....big series ahead this weekend and everyone needs a rest sometime so that's accomplished too.

Used to seeing Tar Heel centerfielders tracking those down no problem.
