I don’t think giving away **** for free is the answer. All you gotta do is make the concession prices make sense but rich people rather make boneheaded decisions thinking and assuming they know what they’re doing.

Big Mac Land is not a big area.
These will sell out Fast, maybe not a random Tuesday or Wednesday night when my chances of being there are much greater but it will be a popular ticket.

This is how you know we'll be sub .500 this year.. they are just trying to get butts in the seats. I'm going to try to make it to a game or two, but it's going to be a rough season.

Yeah going to be a rough few years.Should have started this rebuild a few years ago and started to build up the farm then.At least the farm seems to be building some talent(system is ranked in the top 5 in the pre season rankings) and got a ton of early draft picks for the up coming draft so maybe some hope in the next 4 or so years.

Would be great if DeWitt sold the team...he's checked out at this point and his son is an idiot.

Nolan Gorman at 3rd. Enough said.
Sadly this is true....plus you got Marmol leading the team also ...heck they just extended the dude for two more years so I fully expect he's going to take the hit this season and the next two and then they'll hand the team over to Yadi once the young talent starts to hit Stl in 2029.

Please keep the pre-shitting posts about the Cardinals coming. It brightens my day.
Us cardinals fans are not used to all this pre shitting for sure…. It feels odd. I guess like the cubs have felt for 95% of their existence.

Totally agree. Very Busch-league maneuver for any MLB franchise***

For those unwilling to look it up going into today the Cardinals have the 4th (tied) best record in the NL at 37-30 with the 29th highest payroll in baseball. Just be glad they aren’t the Giants.

In the mid and late 1980s, we used to go to Braves games quite regularly (attended what I think was the longest game in Atlanta Braves history on July 4-5, 1985). The most expensive tickets publicly available were $8, without food. We usually bought a ticket/hotel package through Marriott on the north side of 285. I don't remember the exact price, but we got 3 tickets and a suite for the night for a very reasonable price.

$29 including stadium food is a pretty good deal. Probably not the best seats in the house but you get to see an MLB game for a reasonable price.

The bullpen has been serviceable until recently, but it’s only gonna get worse cause the starters rarely make it thru 6 innings. The pen is getting overworked.

Libertore has been a huge disappointment. He gets shellacked 3rd time thru the order. He’s as soft as baby poo.
Teams have figured out OBrien at closer. He’s been pretty awful the last two weeks.

Yeah, I fully expect the season to revert and end up being below .500, which is what I expected at the beginning of the season. It has been nice to see some of the young position guys step up.
