2025 Regional basketball schedules

Will finals be same days of week for each class? So since 2a plays this Saturday will they play next Saturday as well? Or could they mix it up and make them play earlier?
I doubt it. They will wait till all regional games are played to detemine dates and time IMO

I have nothing but good memories of playing at LR during the state playoffs.
With Cherokee coming it’s not going to hold everyone that comes. I’ve seen the Nation pack the lower level of the Joel Coliseum for 2 years.

That's what I'm saying Deana they had over 5 thousand fans at the final four game last year on a weekday...and with the tickets being for two games that second game might not have anyone at the game after Cherokee fans leave lol. I wonder if the ten bishop fans show up to watch the braves beat the wheels off of em since there star player is at nc state now
If LR only seats that few people, how are they authorized to host playoffs. This is directly from the handbook:
4.5.5 Playoffs (General Requirements, Officials, Press Conference, Sites)
(a) Minimum Seating Requirements are as Follows - Class 1A and 2A — host 1000, visitors 500; Class 3A and 4A – host 1450, visitors 750; Class 5A and 6A – host 2000, visitors 1000; Class 7A and 8A — host 2500, visitors 1500.
Yes, overlook on my part. I actually do not see any seating requirements just for anything other than football.
Tickets are surprisingly still for sale ...so some people r going to be turned away that bought a ticket or Cherokee fans aren't coming like usual....which i highly doubt ....if there is 1600 seats and Cherokee brings 5k to wake forest there is no way tickets are still available
I think they should explore different sites for different classes. For instance, Asheville (Harrah’s/Kimmel Arena) is a great central location in smaller classes where there are many teams in the Smokies, but not as much for larger classes that are concentrated in Charlotte and the Triad in the west. And you wouldn’t have people playing at 1PM on a school day with multiple sites.
