My favorite is Bohanon's. Might be hard to hard to stay at $150-/head if counting drinks. Fogo de Chao is certainly more affordable and very good. J. Anthony's Seafood is very affordable. Not a fancy place. But good food.Trying to keep it to $100-150/head.
What say you???
i have never been there, but what you said is correct. Some good Mexican restaurants there.

Lived in SA for 8 years and my best advice is to eat somewhere other than the riverwalk. Go to the northwest side of SA and eat near La Cantera or over near 151 and 410. So many amazing mom and pop Mexican restaurants all over the city. Riverwalk prices are ridiculous for food. Hell, if you get the chance drive to Lockhart (2+ hours north) and eat at Blacks BBQ. IMO, best BBQ everTrying to keep it to $100-150/head.
