If MSU doesn’t have plans for this structure, Jeff Borzello is probably right in his assessment of where MSU is in the pecking order.

Being plugged into the AAU circuit doesn’t mean what it used to. Being plugged into the agent space is everything it is cut out to be.

MSU has a Director of Basketball Operations already.
Does he have any experience working with agents and do his responsibilities include roster construction? Or is his more of the traditional Director of Ops role that has been around for some time?

That is completely different position than a GM.
It might be a different position, but there is someone that handles all the portal movement for him because he has made comments in different podcast and interviews that I’ve seen where he says that he has no idea of what the players make and what the negotiations are, and he stays out of that.
