You are dead on with Boston and Motley Crue. My 3rd pick would be Iron Maiden. Just no justification for these 3 bands not to be in by now. NONE. Honorable mention to Thin Lizzy, Bryan Adams and Eddie Money.
No reason for the Crue to not be in when GnR is in. NONE! They were the predecessors of GnR.

It was sort of a super group in reverse, and most of its members are already in the HOF for their other groups and solo work (Beck, Rod Stewart, and Ron Wood) but it might be the only way for drummer Micky Waller to get in.
Jeff Beck had an eye for talent, and their album work actually included Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Keith Moon on drums, but none of those guys toured with the band.

Styx Equinox through Paradise Theater was a great band, except for Cornerstone which was awful.
Yeah. Although there are some good songs on that album. Cornerstone is when Dennis deYoung jumped the shark.

Yeah Nickleback honestly had very good songs for multiple years. Watch the frickin documentary on them. They were number one for quite a while.
Yes, he's also in with the Yardbirds. Rod Stewart is in solo and with the Faces, and Ronnie Wood is in with the Faces and some other British band he joined later.
Im saying the Jeff Beck Group deserves its own entry. Their music was the inspiration for Led Zepplin, which basically created hard rock.
Man I don’t think so. One great album. One pretty good album. And then sucked. I get that it was an incredible album. But that’s not HOF resume for me.
