Just a good turn around jumper off the glass would have been enough; that was Wilt's shot over half the time.

What if there wasn’t a missed shot clock violation?

What if we didn't have 2 shot clock violations?

What if Anderson played?

What if we had fair refs in 2017?

What if we made free throws against Auburn in the 2019 E8?

What if there was a tournament in 2020?

What if Bogans doesn’t hurt his ankle in the 2003 Sweet 16?

What if Poythress doesn’t tear his ACL in 2015 and could guard Sam Dekker?

What if Lamont Butler didn’t miss a game last year?

Dale Brown was having a big game against Michigan and the Fab Five in 93 before injuring his shoulder. And Jamal Mashburn and Jared Prickett both fouled out.

We were destroying everyone in our path before this game and it haunted me for years. Winning it all in 96 eased some of the pain though.

The 1993 team is my all time favorite UK team. They were the ones that turned me into a diehard. I was 13. My dad and I were there in person in the nosebleeds. I left that game a snotty, crying mess. I still hate the Fab 5 and will never stop.

Those games against Wake Forest and Florida State were works of art. Pitino had them rolling like a GD freight train. Michigan got so many breaks. We should've won that game. Pretty sure we beat UNC for the title too.

Edit: Duncan wasn't on that Wake team. It was Randolph Childress.

My parents let me watch that Wake game if I promised to take a nap after school. That first half was so awesome. I still watch it a couple times a year. Started 9-9 on 3s. It was beautiful.

What if WCS had showed up for even 5 minutes vs. Wisconsin? We go to 39-0 and shoot for 40-0 against Duke, probably the most anticipated game in history. I know several UK-haters that wanted to see that game.

So many amazing UK games on YouTube. Rick and Cal gave us so many incredible games. Tubby did too just not nearly as many

One that slipped away that doesn’t get talked about as much. 1999 elite 8 against Michigan State. Think we were favored although we were the 3 seed and them the 1. We were playing well. We jumped all over them and I think led by 15 at one point in first half. Heshimu if I remember right got in foul trouble. He was the glue. Could have been our 4th straight final 4. Always think how this could have changed Tubbys era here had we won another title.

That box score for that 2011 UCONN game is crazy at a quick glance. We made 9 threes and they only hit 1. They did make 5 more FTs than we did but they had 5 more turnovers. They only had 6 off rebounds to our 15. The difference is when you separate out the 2 pt FGs. We only had 12 they had 22. Lost 56-55

TJ was 0-5 from the line.

I just watched the first 12 minutes of that game. Wake started that game 8 of 9 from the field and trailed 41-16. Why did Gimel Martinez have to ruin our three-point start?

What struck me watching that game is how I felt about Pitino back then vs 20 years later vs now. Crazy

Camara backed off Mateen Cleaves (I think) in the final seconds of the first half and gave up a huge three that I feel changed the game.

If I recall correctly, Tubby made substitutions at the first TO of the first half. I remember we were rolling and that broke our momentum. Or maybe Izzo adjusted during the TO.

We handed that game to UCONN. Another rock fight Cal got lured into.

Yeah, What IF we scored more points than the other team. We would be undefeated every year. What is the point of playing the "what if" game.

Idk. All I know is you have the best username on this forum. It’s like every time I see you post I solve a mystery and it always feels like the first time. Swap the F and the T. Everybody loves a good turd/fart humor.

Hey, if Michigan didn't beat us, Chris Webber wouldn't have gotten to call timeout like an asshat when they were out of them.
