Carter with a line drive right past second to bring in two runs, big hit there with two outs and the bases loaded.
Situational hitting and Schaffner follows him up with another pull side double, Forbes sends Carter and the inning ends with the French out at home.
Situational hitting so far this year has been atrocious.
Really impressed with Schaffner's ability at the plate, not swinging for the fences and making a big difference
score? and on another note Vance Honeycutt hit another HR in spring training for the Os today. This one turned out to be the game winner
Something is off with Walker to start this season. Doesn’t look as sharp as he did last season

McDuffie just not getting it done this year so far. Struggling big time. We need last year McDuffie.
As good as walker was last year, he doesn’t throw many competitive non-sliders. The velo is down right much on the slider as well.

Through 4IP, Carolina's given up 7 walks and an error. Forbes was heated yesterday about the focus and effort in the 9-1 win......
Gotta throw strikes. And the balls have to be competitive balls near the zone instead of so far off

“Atrocious” is a strong statement that I’m sure can be backed up with data and how it compares to other teams.
Yeah good point, but we need the good McDuffie for most of last year. Otherwise, he’s going to need to be moved down in the rotation.
I love reading your opinions. Do you think this is just a sophomore slump he can get out of, or are you concerned?
