Say it a thousand times and it won't change the fact that I was against hiring Pope. But he had a good first season and I am not firing him for one bad, injury riddled season. I’m not even sure if he’ll be fired even next year. If Mitch or his hand-picked successor see “improvement” next year by winning a couple more games or making it to the round of 32, that might just be enough to convince those idiots to give him 4th year.
