Great defense last couple minutes yet only a 7-0 run because Rutgers refuses to play team basketball. The final shot of the half summarizes Pikes offense, one person touches the ball, everyone stands around, contested step back 3.
Surprising only down 7, very winnable game as Huskies showing why they’re not a top of conference team either. Not saying we will win, just that it’s winnable. I would play that lineup that closed the half more in second half (Francis, JMike, Mark, Buchanan, and Dortch). Can’t shoot, but they played with life and actually applied defensive pressure.
Explains why Wash has such a lousy record. They looked so good, and then so bad.
Wait what.. you've never seen that before? The first time he draws up a shot or inbounds play will be his first.. well in fairness I have seen a couple in 250 + ganes..

For anyone who might be interested - we are -8 without JMike on the floor and +1 with him out there - just saying. Also leading in defensive rebounding with three.

And he'll get the reward of starting the second half. Why? Because our coaching staff has no feel for the game.
I don't like Francis as the guy running the offense, especially when JMike and Lino are out there with him. Everything is so slow.
He was playing well, should have been given more floor time
Besides those 4 turnovers leading to 7 straight RU points they were dominating us so our only chance is if those turnovers continue
He also went 0-3 from floor and 0-2 from the line, he’s killing’ it tonight
EO currently has one FG less than the other four starters combined.
I normally can’t stand the sight of Davis but he played better than most, needs more run in 2nd half

On the other hand, Summerville was never this bad. Ogbole is actually outplaying him.
Lathan lost weight too, looks too skinny to bang inside. I thought he was better with us last year when he was all chunky and could bang down low a little more. He couldn’t jump or rim protect. He was always undersized at the Center position, but I look at him now and don’t even know what position he is, power forward I guess.
Credit to Pike he finally changed a second half starting lineup and look at that it's working.

Yep, and then if EO had set the screen Lathan did before his basket he would have been called for a foul.
Pike with a smart move starting this lineup that played well in 1st half. I know I criticize him plenty but he showed a feel for the game, at least in that instance.
Damn, great D for 24 seconds and then we bail them out with a foul. Could really use a stop on this possession.
