I would be thrilled to see Houston because that means we made the damn tournament.
EXACTLY what I was going to say. Forget about the season. Let's just make the tournament and get out of the first weekend, then we can start judging other teams.

I had the same thought. Not sure we should already be debating who we want in our bracket, because it’s still uncertain whether this team will have a bracket at all.

Let’s get off the bubble first, then we can talk about who we want.

Of the top teams I definitely think they’re one you’d prefer.

Would essentially be the matchup of the 3 guards from each squad

Matchup very well and they can't score
They would beat us down bad. Flemmings would have a field day. Nobody could cover Cenac. Plus we couldn’t score. They played a bad second half and have struggled the past three games, but they are still pretty elite. I wouldn’t be shocked to see another final 4 from them this year. Kansas is better than I thought they would be. Long and athletic and they had a great game plan last night.

We need to beat the bamas auburns and Georgia’s before we worry about Houston. I’m sure Pope would coach circles around Sampson tho if ever matched up.

Houston's 3 losses:

@Iowa State--Iowa State is a top 6 team and fighting for a 1 seed. They have one of the best home court advantages
Vs Arizona--arguably the best team in the country
@kansas--probably the BEST home court advantage in the country.

I'm at the point I believe Houston isn't ELITE this year. But they're a top 10 team.

Yeah because they looked sooooo good last night
they didn’t look as good as when we got beat by baby Bruce and his 500 tigers. Does Sampson need his oil checked also anon? You tried to say law enforcement was needed because I wanted to put my finger in mitches booty 😂somebody call the police. Tell them Mitch liked it so much I had to call police because I got scared a little.

We don’t have anyone that can guard Kingston Flemings, not even close. They’re much better defensively and better coached. Throw in Cenac and Sharp… I think it would be embarrassing.

Houston is a better team than UK overall, and Sampson gets his guys to play hard (most of the time). But I don't think UK has any physical issues guarding Cenac. Moreno could guard him fine, and has arguably been a more productive Big. Heck, Garrison could guard Cenac if he wouldn't get himself out of position and lost so frequently. And neither Oweh nor Aberdeen would struggle guarding Flemings. Now whether Chandler can guard either Sharp or Uzan effectively enough is a question I'm not sure about. But, I generally agree with the posters who say it's not a bad matchup for UK in regard to being paired with the higher ranked teams.
