John Goodman???
The last play goes wrong, he loses the egg bowl, he gets fired like every other coach in Mississippi history.
Because I have history and evidence on my side. Name one coach that lost three consecutive egg bowls and kept his job? What's it like to be so confident and so wrong all at the same time??
That lemon has a big navel
Seriously either you're high or you're thinking about Croom or SloMo (or possibly Lebby?).The last play goes wrong, he loses the egg bowl, he gets fired like every other coach in Mississippi history.
Tell me what they’ve done to warrant a statue ?Why Dak and Jake should have one? Jesus Christ.
Dak singlehandedly brought more notary to Starkville than another person.Tell me what they’ve done to warrant a statue ?
Ill wait.
What championship did Polk win?And that is reason for a statue?! What championship did he help win? What national trophy for best college player did he win?
Some of the posters on this site are such idiots it’s comical at times.
Dak should have one because Archie and Eli have one at Ole Miss. That's enough for me. Go ahead and make it look like the stiff arm he gave LSU.Tell me what they’ve done to warrant a statue ?
Ill wait.
And you’re an idiot too bc only Archie has one at ole miss and that’s pretty stupid too but I can understand that school wanting to put up a statue of maybe their best player ever in football.Dak should have one because Archie and Eli have one at Ole Miss. That's enough for me. Go ahead and make it look like the stiff arm he gave LSU.
You think Polk brought more attention to State/Starkville than Dak? Baseball was niche college sport in Polk's day (maybe still is).He won a bunch of SEC Titles and SEC Tournament Titles and took us to numerous equivalents of basketball Final 4’s but I never said even Ron Polk should have a statue but he did a hell of a lot more for Mississippi State baseball and brought more “notoriety” to Starkville and MSU than Dak ever did.
And I’m not dissing Dak, he helped win some important games and helped get us to a #1 ranking in football for about 5 weeks and has played well for one of the most iconic NFL teams but that’s it.
Have another drink stringbean and ask your mom if you can still play on the internet and google some stupid athletic records before bedtime.

1.Dak led our team to its greatest season in history. The 17ing Auburn and LSU games alone made him a legendTell me what they’ve done to warrant a statue ?
Ill wait.
I agree with all of that and I appreciate what Dak did at State and I appreciate how he supports our school and his school.1.Dak led our team to its greatest season in history. The 17ing Auburn and LSU games alone made him a legend
2 Dak holds 38 school records
3. Dak is the only starting NFL in our history multiple pro bowls
4 . Dak attends many events and is all in. CWS NCAAW . Repeatedly representing Hail State
5. “ Dak Prescott. Mississippi State” not yahoo county not anything ever but MSU
6.Dak Prescott NFL Walter Payton man of the year.
7.OUR FCKING MASCOT’S NAMED AFTER HIM JACKASSSSS.
8. Learn to appreciate the few heroes we have had that actually come back represent and support. But ya probably won’t
9. Jake Mangum .Seriously?
Just for the record. Leach would have been 5-7 or 6-6 without covid in 2020. Lose the win vs Vandy. Add 3 or 4 OOC wins. At NC State we would have been a slight underdog, but close to a toss up. But yeah, Leach wasn’t getting fired.Seriously either you're high or you're thinking about Croom or SloMo (or possibly Lebby?).
Mike had a winning record 19-17 (which is rare at MSU). And for 2020, the covid year, (our record 3-7) the season was completely bonkers, the non cons were canceled, had we played them we'd had 3 or 4 more wins (they were New Mex, NC State (likely a toss up) Tulane and Alabama A & M). Plus UGA was added to our schedule to make up for the loss of the non cons.
Mike was never close to being fired and had he lost the egg in 2022, he wouldn't have been fired or even on the hot seat.
Since 1950, 4 football coaches have left State with a winning record, and Mike is one of two since Darrell Royal left in the mid 50s.
concur, which is better than his record of 3-7.Just for the record. Leach would have been 5-7 or 6-6 without covid in 2020. Lose the win vs Vandy. Add 3 or 4 OOC wins. At NC State we would have been a slight underdog, but close to a toss up. But yeah, Leach wasn’t getting fired.
Totally agree. Something simple. I have thought fly it with the American flag at DWS.I’ve always thought flying the Jolly Roger flag outside dws 24/7/365 in honor of Mike would be better than any statue.
Was just wondering about the mannings. Funny they would have statues to themDak should have one because Archie and Eli have one at Ole Miss. That's enough for me. Go ahead and make it look like the stiff arm he gave LSU.
So dak is our Archie1.Dak led our team to its greatest season in history. The 17ing Auburn and LSU games alone made him a legend

So you disagree with the Clark and Palmeiro statues then? But are in favor of Lemonis. But not Dak. Bruh I cant help you.I agree with all of that and I appreciate what Dak did at State and I appreciate how he supports our school and his school.
Put him on the Ring of Honor - NOW!
I would be all in and very much in favor of that and I may change my mind on a statue if he goes on to win a Super Bowl or two ( and I hope he does), even as a Saints fan and if he donates a large sum of $$ and wants to have some upgrade or addition with his name on it at the stadium, then a statue would be worthy.
I just think for the most part , statues should be for an individual who won a championship or a Heisman or was a winning coach for multiple years. Like it or not, Lemonis probably deserves one in 2031 on the 10th anniversary of our Natty.
Hopefully we can put one up of O’Connor for multiple Nattys the same year we do Lemonis.
he has a banner in the Hump.Jack Cristil needs more than a plaque on a pressbox.
I saw daffodils popping up on campus last weekend.I nominate one for Doc Foglesong. Preferably as Snoopy flying a bi-plane.
If a frog had wings . . .The last play goes wrong, he loses the egg bowl, he gets fired like every other coach in Mississippi history.
In recent history. Not in State history.1.Dak led our team to its greatest season in history. The 17ing Auburn and LSU games alone made him a legend
