The Wolverines (22-4, 13-2) visit Carver to battle the Hawkeyes (21-5, 12-3).

This is a really good Michigan team, unlike Iowa they have been blowing out lesser competition.

The hawks are tough to beat at home but I think Michigan pulls it out 74-67

Would be a good sign for tournament play if Iowa can hang with Michigan’s athletes today. Michigan is top 4 in the league in a variety of athletic stats: blocks, steals, and O-boards.

I hate Senior Day for big games. Seems like emotions get the best of teams too often. The only good thing is that the Hawks know they'll be playing 2 more games in Carver after this one.

I like the Hawkeyes in this one. We don't know how close Hannah will be to 100%, but given the nature of the injury, I think she's likely to be pretty effective. Chit-Chat recovers and has a brilliant game, Stremlow keeps doing her thing, Ava is on, and Feuerbach helps shut down Michigan's offense as the Hawkeye defense gets after it. Maybe Deal has some good moments and Houston will make some key plays. Iowa shows it's better than even some Iowa fans believe.

I'd sure think so, but I was wondering if they might let her dress for Senior Day, start for the center jump, and then call time-out and sub for her. I suppose that's more of a high school/small college thing. In any case I now see she's listed as "Out", so that's resolved.

Yeah, I don't think you do that kind of stuff at this level. Pretty damn important game as well. A win today could move Iowa into a shot at 2nd place in the B1G. That would be a heck of a feather in Jans cap and I think cement her as COTY in the conference.
