I sat watching my son’s baseball practice today on a new stone bench. It was in memory of a 14 year old and had a QR code to scan for his story. No details but he too died by suicide. Can’t wrap my head around it at such a young age. Even 25…RIP

Seems Rondale Moore never had a season like his breakout season at Purdue. He had a season-ending injury after signing with the Vikings.

So sad. Hard not to suspect CTE was a factor. May he Rest In Peace, and his family get answers. 🙏

"Too much hate in this world, stay positive. . . .take care of your people."

Easily said, not easily done, but we need to try harder. Someone remarked about Rondale and said that players who get injured are subjected to all sorts of nasty comments on social media by "fans" and others. For young people who have had early successes in life, this can be hard to handle.

Hopefully, we can find a way to be kinder to each other.

Sad if he reacted to fans negative comments. "Social" media is antisocial and a cesspool. Some young people have issues dealing with the rampant negativity spewed at theme online.

And thinking of Mo Toure:

Unfortunately, TKR is not immune to the cesspool of nastiness and negativity.
You are correct. Look no further than any weather thread, with the usual clowns taunting and belittling a poster. And, oh mercy, to have a simple disagreement with someone about whether a coach or player should be fired or benched. Older people seem to be able to handle online insults. Younger people, and it has been shown time and time again, have a difficult time. Sometimes a big part of their world is being on social media seeking approval from people they know and don't know.
