You're basically saying we are not allowed to be frustrated at Pope and call out bad play. Therefore, if we do, we are bad fans/trolls. Come on man. These players get paid. They are employees. No one is bashing Chandler or whatever. Most fans are frustrated at lack of effort, bad IQ plays and bad coaching.

A good team + well coached team does not put themselves in this position to get hosed.

This mentality is probably common talk among Indiana fans.

Most of us see that horizon. We don't want to become the next Indiana.

Several possessions with the lead where our best option was chucking up a 3 at the end of the shot clock. The call against Chadler might've been bad, but we weren't good enough to keep it from getting to that point. That's not being a troll, thats being unbiased and observant.
That's slacking off in class all semester and then being mad the professor didn't curve your final enough for you to pass.

Where did I say that? Go back and look through that thread. We are not a good team. We are not well coached. I never said otherwise.
But we have had a lot of injuries that cost us a couple of games. And we got straight cheated out of that game. 20-7 would be a Heck of a lot better than 17-10. If Pope gets fired, I am not going to ***** about it. I am going to push for us to hire Pearl, watch us hire Drew, and endure 3 more years of half the board dogging out the Cats every day

You literally said it right there in the bold. Because we see the bigger picture and not blame the game on the 1 bad call, because it was many bad things leading up to that bad call. You're basically saying if we don't agree with you, therefore we are not UK fans. So if we disagree with you here, we are Kansas fans? Nah.

My comment had nothing to do with Pope. I just remember you harping on them in the Florida game too. But I typically don’t agree with posters of any fan base that blame the refs every time we lose.

Good Lord man. Did you think we got a fair whistle in Florida and do you think the call on Chandler cost is the game. Answer the question...and then tell me what the problem is. I am not defending Pope. I am pissed that the refs stole the game. I am shocked more of you don't agree

Bad call for sure but we also didn’t box out in the rebound. So I’m not sure it cost us. We also missed free throws down the stretch. It’s just hard for me to say one call cost us the game when there’s a number of things we could have done differently. Some of that is the coach but obviously free throws and BG being awful aren’t on him at all.

Also, Kentucky has never gotten a fair whistle in the almost 30 years I’ve been watching them. I stopped letting myself get worked up about it after UNC in 2017. It was robbery.

It’s hard to give a **** about being cheated when the program, team and coaches are god awful and the score should have never been close to begin with. Many of us are losing the ability to give a ****.

We didn't block out of the follow...something i have ******* about all season. But there is no rebound to be had if not for that flop bullcrap. The ball is going to Chandler all alone, he is going to dribble up till he is fouled, knock them down and then they are shooting 3's. At which time we probably leave them wide open to tie it, I got you. Doesn't change anything

A fan since 1968 and not dogging Chandler. He extended his arm and the defender played it perfectly to draw the call. I just said it was piss poor basketball IQ on both the players and coaches. That timeout should have stressed, DON'T FOUL. A foul was the ONLY way we were going to lose the game. Chandler extended his arm and that was poor basketball IQ on steroids. Just because someone states an opinion about a poor play that you disagree with does not make or mean they are a TROLL. We beat ourselves tonight with poor play. Chandler did not have a typical Chandler game with 5 Turn Owers but he is still our best player. Oweh coild be our best player if he would give 100% effort.

Man I am too. I am as sick of Pope as anyone here. Our team does suck. But...our AD hired the guy...he did have a pretty good first season...and he did lose three kids this season. So I try and give him a fair shake. If we had hired Pearl like I wanted, I believe we would be a top 5 team by now in year two. But we didn't and if we fire Pope, I would bet my house we don't hire him now. It will be Drew or some other buddy of MB's. He is a much bigger problem than the coach. But Fire MB and you won't hear a peep out of me when the new AD Tee's up Pope

Go back and watch that play again bud. Was Chandlers arm on a defender that was into his body? Yes. But he didn't shove the guy at all. The guy fell down backwards. Watch it back in slow motion and you'll see. Further, just a few minutes earlier, one of Aubrurns players dropped his shoulder and lunged into a set and straight up Chandler and knocked him down with no call and that guy shot free throws. There is no way you can let that play be a no call and then call that flop with the game on the line

This fan base is full of chaos right now.
I think Pope deserves the criticism and so does the players.
We should’ve won that game and I can name a lot of reasons why we lost. That call at the end of the game was obviously a screw job but Garrison just standing there on the put back to go ahead made me even more upset.
This team just doesn’t have the talent or heart to win. It’s very depressing!
The Pope criticism is deserved even with the injuries not just this year.
I will say I was impressed we made it to the 16 last year but that’s not the assignment.
To overachieve is not the expectation to me.

We’re supposed to be the best every year and I don’t give a damn what anybody else thinks.
