I know what you mean…just rest easy knowing:
1) their fans will have to look under “American Athletic Conference” in order to find their team’s record.
2) they have to wear Adidas baseball gear…which is a classic example of an oxymoron.
3) their relevance (if it exists) will die with Godwin’s retirement.
but it does look like they may get the best of us today.
I REALLY hope the forecast is wrong, because I want to take these guys down tomorrow. Their fans are going to be so annoying on Twitter tonight. I’m just going to have to log off.
It’s funny you say that because when Gallaher came up, I said he’s due for a HR. A buddy of mine with me who played college ball at State said before he hit it that actually you don’t want a HR there, we’d be better off with a double to keep the pressure on the bases and get a big inning going. Right now he has proven to be right because the Heels haven’t scored since.
Nah....you want to score those runs however it happens. Who's to say the pitcher doesn't get out of the inning after a double?

I’ve often heard the “home runs are rally killers” line and it is stupid. Take every guaranteed run you can when you can.
Those that have said Carolina getting squeezed in the zone....that ball four was a strike on the track....and would have been strike 3, out 3 in the inning....

Bad in every single phase today. Happens in baseball at times but to happen in a game like this truly sucks. Forget it and move on from it

Just flush the game. It happens. The better team doesn’t always win. Let’s just hope the weather cooperates and we can take it to them tomorrow. I have no doubt our boys will be fired up. Still stinks losing to them. Yuck.
