We're going to win, Auburn has a terrible defense & its really bad in the 2nd half of games.

I said no just because teams with Auburns strength are the teams we normally struggle with. 3 point shooting I believe will be our downfall. Hope I am wrong and they learned something from the Florida game were they let a bad 3 point shooting team make several aginst them

Some want to set the stage like it will be a miracle if we win so that if we do win look at how great Pope is. The fact of the matter is sec road games are hard to win unless it is a terrible team which this year auburn is a bad team but not terrible. The problem is we are not Kentucky good either. Both teams are down so it will be a toss up depending on which below average team rises to the occasion.

We can and will beat Auburn. We need to rebound on both ends aggressively and push them off on the 3 point line.
We win if we do that and shoot a decent percentage, make FT's and don't get in a deep hole early.

Won't win if their defensive game plan is to leave their 3 point shooters wide open like it has been the last 2 games. People wonder why all these teams that have bad 3 point % shoot over their head against us well it is because they are WIDE freaking open is why.

How about a defensive plan that is both guarding the 3 point line and staying in front of your player when they drive and get the defensive rebounds.

Lets try that maybe.

Highly contingent on if Keyshawn Hall is available. They're at home playing for NCAA tournament hopes so we'll be behind the 8 ball.
Get down earlier and I don’t think there's a comeback in this one.
Why would Hall not be available ? You can bet all your money he is playing.

I think this team barely gets to 20 wins this season. They beat one of SC/Auburn, and win a surprise game against one of Florida/Vanderbilt/A&M. Then they get one win in the SEC tourney before losing in the SEC Tourney, followed by a first round loss in the NCAA Tourney.

20-14 final record.

Pope goes 44-26 (63% winning percentage) in his first two seasons here. Mitch justifies the shizzstain of a coaching job by blaming everything on injuries at the end of the year.
I tend to agree. 2 more reg season wins, one in the SEC tournament, but I think we get one in the NCAA to push another lame duck season.

If we beat a .500 Auburn team you will have some pretend it’s such an awesome thing, they’ll conflate Auburn this year with last year, and Barnhart will run out on the court doing handstands to give the impression that we just won a national championship.

This is a game Kentucky fans should 98% of the time record to watch later so they can take their kid to McDonald’s and not keep him waiting. Game means nothing.

Depends on which team shows up. Also, i saw a thread about DA being iffy. I don’t see it now, did it turn ugly or fake news?

The fact that someone has to take a poll on if we win clarifies the abilities of the coach and team. Go back 10 years and couches get flipped and tvs get broke, now days people say it’ll be ok in a few years.

My gut today, for whatever reason, feels like we win and actually relatively comfortably. I can't justify it considering how we've looked, but it's just what my gut says.

I'll put it this way: if we lose to these mediocre bums with a terrible coach, I'll finally be convinced that we just aren't very good. In fact, I expect to win very very comfortably

You absolutely cannot know for sure with this team. Could be a 20 point win, or a 20 point loss.
I kinda have a bad feeling though.

I think we win. Pope has to be a better coach than Junior. I’ll say UK by 7
I like this and tend to agree. We are trending down so bad already I hate to think about any coach with a heartbeat that would lose to Steven Pearl. He HAS to be worse than Mark Pope.

So...70% of the folks on this poll thought UK would lose tonight at Auburn. The team wins if not for a terrible call...and the call doesn't matter because we were the better team? Have it both ways fellas

I voted YES and thought we would win. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I'm surprised we lost, but certainly not shocked by it.
