If at any point as a wrestler they are trying to count your stall calls up, you need to do some soul searching. Dear baby Jesus.
That was embarrassing all the way around for everyone but Lilledahl.
Shame on Princeton's coach for arguing here, he should be embarrassed by this effort.
That is called the Mark Hall. If I recall, he was the last one I saw to get a DQ stall win. Who was it against?

That was a disgraceful display by McGowan. I can why he so rarely gives up a TD.
That was as embarrassing of an effort by anyone that I can remember. Why even show up? Both McGowan and Dubuque should be embarrassed.

Don't know if he thought he could just stall his way to less bonus, but that was a weird one. In 36 years in this sport, I don't think I have ever seen someone score 7 points without a single TD, Reversals, or Escape
So you choose not to wrestle the whole match, then you try to not shake your opponents hand after? Like you are some how wronged?
I was confused by it because it was only one 2 pt stall called but that was a ref error
McGowan can now get an early shower, but since he didn’t break a sweat, he really doesn’t need one.

I’m guessing he is really hurting after getting hit by the car as Byers said. I think Corby mentioned it as well. But if it is that bad, forfeit or put in #2. But gusty to wrestle anyway

Here we go again! Circling, hand fighting & tying up. Blaze pushes forward. He snaps & looks for a leg, but no luck. Blaze takes Rivera to the edge. Rivera shoots, Blaze counters, but they go out of bounds, neutral restart. Blaze pushes forward off the whistle. Rivera drops to a knee. Blaze reaches for an ankle, but can't get there. Blaze shoots & gets a low leg. He elevates the leg & trips Rivera to the mat, then secures the far leg & finishes the TD, 3-0. Blaze is riding. Out of bounds & restart. Rivera is still down. Blaze breaks down Rivera to his belly. Rivera works back to his base, but not for long. He tries to sit out, then works to his feet & Blaze lets him go, 3-1. Rivera reaches for a leg, but can't get there. Blaze presses forward again. Rivera circles back to center. Tying up & hand fighting with snaps & time expires. 3-1 Blaze, +1:04 RT
Period 2:
Blaze takes down. He works to his feet, then turns, but Rivera stays with him. Blaze works back up to his feet & grabs a leg. Out of bounds & restart. Blaze is still down. Blaze works to his feet & is working for hand control. Rivera is hanging on hard. Blaze turns & gets the escape, 4-1. Out of bounds & restart. Blaze pushes forward a bit. Tying up & hand fighting. Blaze reaches for a low leg, but can't get there. Rivera shoots, Blaze counters & works behind for the TD, 7-1. Blaze cuts Rivera, 7-2. Rivera shoots & gets a leg. Blaze works a whizzer, then turns & gets an ankle. Time expires. 7-2 Blaze, +21-sec RT

Rivera takes down. Blaze quickly gets him bellied out. Rivera works back to his base, but Blaze is riding heavy. Rivera works to his feet. Blaze goes over 1-min of RT. Out of bounds & restart. Rivera is still down. Blaze goes optional & cuts Rivera, 7-3. Tying up & hand fighting. Blaze pushes forward. Blaze with some snaps. He reaches for a leg, but can't get there. He shoots again & gets a leg, then pulls Rivera back onto the mat & finishes the TD, 10-3. Blaze rides out the period & adds a RT point, 11-3

That (the 125 match) was embarrassing. How? do you learn anything by not wrestling at all. He would have "grown" more by getting pinned in 20s than he did in that match. And, jeez, the ref was more than generous in the lack of stall calls. Come on Princeton.
Starocci also DQ'd Edmond Ruth by stalling last year.

Rivera definitely wasn't as bad as McGowan, but, he certainly wasn't wrestling to win either. Good job by Marcus to find his way to the major.

I think he said that happened his true Freshman year. It's still awful, but, I don't think it impacted his effort tonight.
