Baseball is amazing. Squibbler going foul that spins back fair, base hit. Laser to short, double play.
And a guy like Nicholson can be struggling and hit a bomb into the left field trees off Norby.....
To the people hating on Cooper and his batting average, I was right he's just fine. A solo shot that the left fielder just watched go over his head. Tommy and I also could've called this one, he was also mashing during batting practice.
Not from this site or Grace or me. He's working back and may be available in some minor role this weekend, but TBD depending on need

Unless the tv angle is just really odd, that was a pretty poor read by Schaffner. Don’t think MJ could have caught that ball at short. Ended up costing us a run.

It was closer than it looked on TV and from directly behind home plate, I can't say he was wrong making sure......aggressive would have gotten a run, but could have ended a big potential chance too... a hit with bases juiced and it's moot....but like we've said up above, baseball.....
