I remember two months ago when Christmas was coming, the goose was getting fat, and Penn State was begging for pennies with an old man's hat. Kids, there was a time, that seems so quaint now, when PSU was locked in a dead heat with anOSU and Iowa for expected first place. You are probably too young to remember it, but I swear it happened.
Things have changed a bit. In fact they have changed enough that we have a few extra graphics for this edition.

OK, so we already know about the team points. But what about the other stuff that is only fun for Penn State fans?
While the expected AAs "only" sit at 8.4, that is still a fair amount more than the next closest team (Oklahoma State 5.9).
The probability really falls off a cliff at nine AAs. Poor Braeden Davis is holding PSU back on the probability of ten AAs. But, I am sure he has other plans.
Expected finalists is pretty high too at 5.1.
I know, I know. You wanted me to say 10, but these are based on field probabilities. For the students in the crowd that want to adjust to PSU-specific probabilities I leave that as an independent study project.
Expected champions is a new one. Here the total is sure to disappoint this board again at 3.1 (another independent study opportunity - I give and I give), but remember, that is far and away the most of any team.
Penn State will just have to prove me wrong and show they are right tail kinda guys who look at the ~3.6% chance of breaking that particular record and say "hold my beer".*
*No, that is not another Braeden Davis reference.
