neither bitter or a flyers fan. I just recognize a serial flopper like Crosby and LeBron. They deserve all the ridicule and disdain that they get. Otherwise very talented but the flopping is pathetic.
Crosby had been the best player in the game for a very long time and is routinely voted the most complete player in the league by his peers. Everyone is entitled their opinion though.

To be fair, that’s how I feel about Tom Brady. Talented? Yes. Whiny little b*tch. Absolutely.

Crosby has been one of the most honest and hard working players in the game for a long, long time. He’s quite simply hockey royalty and has won almost every kind of championship and individual award imaginable. The guy’s 38 years old and still is producing and leading a team that’s quietly having a really good season. IMO, he’s one of the most underappreciated great players in the history of any sport.

His injury didn’t look good. Knee caved in as he was anticipating a hit

They were trying hard to not have her win it. Short program and then initial technical showed 78 plus greater than Liu then they dialed it back after reviewing all video.
Are you suggesting that the Olympics might be tainted by politics and that the competing nations, who source many of the subjective officials, might vehemently hate the USA 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️

Watched last night (and yes I know this stuff can be seen live or elsewhere, but it stinks that they make the best TV events their ‘premiere’ events for TV and those are around 10pm) and Alysa had the most fun, refreshing routine it was very easy to get swept up into it. Had either of the Japanese skaters performed just slightly better they would have won but it was not meant to be. Big win and very happy for Alysa who, outside of Marybeth snowboarders, actually looks like she’s having fun. This is a cool breakdown of her performance.

It was great how all three of the women's figure skating medalists supported one another. For me, it represented the best of the spirit of competition. I haven't watched much at all of the Olympics, but the two individuals who I cared to follow, Alysa Liu and Mikaela Shiffrin, both won gold. On top of that, the U.S. Women's Ice Hockey team defeated Canada for the gold, and Penn Stater Tessa Janecke was on the ice for both Team USA goals. Excellent!

Anyone else discovering Ski Mountaineering for the first time? Wacky but cool.
I'd never heard of it and wacky is a good description. It seems like part of the equation is how fast you can take off your skis then put them back on. And climbing stairs?? WTF??

Are the stairs required to be covered with some snow, on only whatever falls on them during the competition?

That was great to see those three interacting so warmly and sincerely.
And, yes, what a fantastic, never quit effort by the women's hockey team!
