Tanner won by tech in the round of 16. He should have some big matches in the semi's and final. As expected Tanner won by pin in the 1st period with a takedown, back points and then his opponent was put on his back again for a pin.

Hodgins into the finals! He got the only two takedowns in the match, but after the first one, he got reversed and taken to his back for 2 NF.

Yes he was from the class of 2020. Same class as Plott and Ferrari. I believe he wrestled for two years and then took a normal redshirt and an Olympic redshirt so he will have one more year after this year...someone mentioned Braxton Amos as a possible 285 to allow a redshirt for D. Ross a year to grow......from looking at articles on him, it seemed like he graduated HSchool a long time ago....one year of eligibility left?............
It was just mere speculation on if any guy with a year left were to enter the portal who would be a potential one year filler that’s actually good. Nothing more. Yeah I apologize if I was unclear in my earlier comment but I do not have any inside information pertaining to Braxton Amos or what the staff is going to do regarding heavyweight next year.It was just mere speculation on if any guy with a year left were to enter the portal who would be a potential one year filler that’s actually good. Nothing more. But yes he has a year left.
Not good losing in state talent for any program (maybe Penn not included since so much talent). No thoughts on him coming here. He would be very unlikely to land in the starting lineup ever based on current level (which can of course change).Any Hunter Stevens decommit thoughts?
Wisconsin kid 2026 who just decommitted from UW. Not a top stud but def a good wrestler. He’s projected 149 I think. We have zero room there lolWho?
I watched Ross's 1st match at state it was a tech in less than a minute. It was a bit ridiculous with his opponent having shoulder brace and thick knee brace. Dreshaun got 7 takedown that were unbelievable easy. One takedown I think he pushed his opponent down and got on top. Dominant but I need to find a more powerful word to describe this match.Meh, looks like two more guys that can finish a takedown![]()

Where did you watch it at?Felt so bad for the kid
Might have been Flo reshowing it on the socials but can’t remember. Had to show my wife it was so bad.Where did you watch it at?

Looked like the effort from Cowboy basketball last night. That might be the least amount of effort I've ever seen on a wrestling mat. Not sure what the kids injuries are but sheesh.
Dreshaun won in the quarters by pin in 40 seconds. His 4th takedown took his opponent to his back for the pin. He still looks fairly thin about the same size when he wrestled to the finals of 20 and under HWT. I do hope that he can gain 15 to 20 pounds in Stillwater.Looked like the effort from Cowboy basketball last night.
Hideaway is open!I do hope that he can gain 15 to 20 pounds in Stillwater.
Ross won 21 to 6 in 69 seconds in the semi's. A takedown every 10 seconds. Ridiculous, how easy that was for Dreshaun.Dreshaun won in the quarters by pin in 40 seconds. They were almost all snap go-behinds, though his athleticism and lateral quickness were much more on display in this one compared to his first couple matches where he only had to exert like 1% of his abilityObviously not your fault but it Sure would’ve been nice to see how he got all those takedowns.
If he's looking for good, Hideaway; pounds. Eskimo Joe'sHideaway is open!
