I just saw it posted on Facebook, Omar is headed to the LV Raiders. Maybe Jay Norvell could take over the RB coach position? It could also be that Norvell, wants to stay as an analyst, no off campus recruiting involved in that gig.

I look at this as a good sign. Gives Tim Lester the ability to bring in another of his guys possibly and the cupboard has a lot of RB talent so it shouldn't be that hard to find someone that will be high quality and may bring more in recruiting if they have been a college coach the whole time.

One more fleeting thought is maybe Bud moves from WR to RB and that leaves open a spot to get a true WR coach.

This is what I was thinking. Doesn't Jay Norvell have WR coaching experience (along with head coaching)? I think that would be a home run.

Akrum Wadley available?
You can't coach the talent of an Akrum Wadley, one of the most exciting and clutch RBs I've ever seen in a Hawkeye uniform, and I've been around a while. I loved watching him do his thing.

BTW: I'm hearing Lester could bring in the RB coach he worked with at Western Michigan, Mike Bath.

As long as it isn't former PSU RB Mike McBath...Orlando folks know what I'm saying.

A little over a week and it has been awfully quiet regarding the Hawk's RB coach replacement. Heard a few names to watch but no leader yet. We need a solid RB recruit in this class so I'm hoping we get a solid recruiter.

I googled Coach Bath, he has a good resume. I have no knowledge on the coaching search, I trust Kirk and Tim Lester to make the right hire.

Several names are higher up in this thread. Manson? Probably not
Albert Young? He has been a running back coach at Colorado for a year and Wilkes College, not a great coaching resume.
I had heard there may be a MAC coach also.
You need to chill.
