There have been so many years this team couldn’t buy a foul shot. Twenty made free throws tonight has been a joy to watch.
Love having Francis running the end of the game with his good handle, good passing and knack for drawing fouls and hitting 90% of them. Nice win.

Rutgers Basketball recorded its second straight win for the first time in Big Ten play with a first-half thrashing of Penn State on the road.
Terrific win. We’ve now defeated the four teams below us in the standings who are in the 15 through 18 spots. We have all but clinched the opening round bye (not quite, but almost).
And when Rutgers beats them it's more than one angel that gets wings....

Not quite. If Maryland wins tonight they get their 4th too. Both RU/MD have home games with Washington. Need to beat Maryland at their place to lock it up for sure. I think in a tie they might go to highest placed school in standings and they beat Iowa.

Francis is the difference maker at crunch time by forcing opponents to foul him where he shoots 90%. A truly impactful player on a roster where some players are now over achieving .Pikiell needs to get the credit now for the sudden change in performance.Its late in the season but the won/loss record will be better than expected.

Just because you didn't kill him tonight doesn't mean you don't use every opportunity to kill him, and you just took that opportunity to talk about his record. You fail to recognize what the UCLA coach mentions that there is the haves and haves not. We have the lowest NIL in conference by far

-Nice to see Mark show up
-PSU is awful
-If PSU centers name was Ogbole he would have been whistled for 6 fouls in the first half alone instead of 0
-Grant was big
-Everyone contributed
-Hated the lineup that let lead shrink, no EO and PSU went straight at rim combined w guys hesitant to shoot

With Maryland's remaining schedule, I feel better about staying above them in the standings. It feels like 6 conference wins (maybe 5) should keep RU out of the bottom 4.
