Stirtz absolutely hammered and had his arms raked the whole time on that last drive and not even close to being awarded a foul call.
Of course captain air ball makes it.
That’s crushing. We outplayed them by a lot more than 5 points that half.
He could get one every damn time and the refs know that, so they won’t oblige .
Hawks have shown they can run with these guys. Killer last minute, as always.
Stirtz is about the only 'star' player in the league that doesn't seem to get anything close to preferential treatment from officiating.
Hell, for a while there, he usually had 2 fouls on him before the second media timeout of the game.

Morris is from Altoona and still ****** that Iowa never recruited him and he ended up at NW, JMO. In retrospect Iowa probably should have recruited him IMO. But memories are elusive, so........
The worst part was it wasn't a pass, lucky ****** got there on a loose ball and throws that up

For being about the last guy you would expect it from, he gets beat off the dribble almost more any of this other teammates.
That whole finish is on AF. We get the ball tipped out after Stirtz drove and no foul call, and we should have run the clock down for the last shot, BUT AF throws up a quick three and they have time to come down and get off the last shot. At WORST we should be up 8-10 points. Really poor understanding of time and score.....
Have to be ready for their charge in the second half. They can fill it up fast.
And they should never have had time to shoot if we took the last shot after it was tipped back out.
Crowd seems to be pretty vocal; great to see.
Pryce pretty well neutralized so far by Strirtz and possibly the crowd letting him have it.
