Ask any of the guys on this year's Joe Moore award winning offensive line and they'll tell you to a man that Mason was the best leader they've been around. Dude was a great player and even better teammate.

But he got taxed by California for his "duty days" in the state. Like Darnold actually ended up having to pay for playing in the Super Bowl due to California tax. Esiason talked about it on his show.

As far as cal. Taxes...darnold makes 33 million which is why his tax hit is so high.
