There is still a TFR from surface to 17,999 through 2/21 for an area about 40 miles west of El Past International. It's over the East Potrillo Mountains and it is a full restriction - no flights at all in this airspace. It's right along the New Mexico/Mexico border.

I think you might be the 3rd person on this board that said they spent time at Holloman AFB.
White Sands is huge. I think it's about 3,000 sq. miles.
Also they do sometimes shut down i70 through that part when they are testing. But they give advanced warning and it isn't long.
I want to check out the Trinity site, they open it for 1 day. I think it's the 3rd thursday in October. Why that date I have no idea.
LOL, no I came by way of Southwestern PA, Ohio, TN, Kentucky, TX. but did hit i70 on the other side of Alamogordo.
Just take Mexico and turn it into Puerto Rico problem solved.

Why? Because the best way to test shooting down cartel drones is to shoot down carter drones in the area where the drones are actually located.
Actually we should take Panama. We can then send the illegals south of the canal. It is easier to guard 90 miles than 2000 miles. They cant walk across the canal or climb over it either.
We could also send them to PR. We will see if bad bunny wants them.

We could start the process by sending Gavin McKenna first. He is an immigrant who came to this country and committed a crime, and therefore must be deported. It does not matter that it was dropped from a felony to a misdemeanor- which is the same criminal level as say…..crossing a border Illegally.
McKenna must be deported and must go now.

Do you really think drug cartels are testing out their drug drones in one of the most monitored airspace around? It just doesn’t make sense. Go 30 miles outside El Paso and there are literally 100’s of miles of non monitored airspace and isolated areas.
Cartel probably didn't get your memo.
I find it hard to believe a cartel that murders and tortures judges, police and politicians would not agree with your logic.
