The guy announcing the alpine skiing events is just plain awful. He's terrible. I manage to ignore him but when I don't he's worse than terrible.
speaking of which, I forgot to post a video of Ryan Cochran-Siegle (USA) winning silver in the men's Super-G.

The kind of race where if they fed them contaminated meat at the top and had a sh|tter at the bottom, the outcome would be the same. Frantic.
I think there are a few guys and one of them is Steve Parino and he also does announcing during the Tour De France that is very entertaining. Not sure if he is the annoying one or not but I think I know what you mean. There is announcer that seems a little over the top and critical but I don't think it is Parino.

I could do without all the Snoop Dogg of this whole thing. They've run the bit with him and Martha Stewart into the ground. Snoop hasn't had a radio hit in over a decade. Please move on.....
I haven't gone back thru this thread. Did we mete out typed punishment for the French judge in ice dancing? Even I thought the whole thing was fishy and I know next to nothing about most things.
BTW, Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski are really good at what they do. Weir was the first to be somewhat skeptical of the French performance.

Word is both French ice dancers (the ones who won) have had different issues with former partnerss/spouses (such as assault, sexual assault, etc.). Not a good look.

The guy I'm talking about doesn't seem to know a thing about skiing. Some of the stuff he says is just plain nuts. It's weird how they never give there names. I'm watching on peacock where they show the whole event.
He did the women's super G that I watched tonight. Someone must have talked to him because one of the stupid things he kept saying over and over during the men's wasn't said once tonight.

I know less than nothing about figuring skating but the Malinin collapse was one or the more difficult things to watch. All mental...got in his head way too much.
Kudos to him and how he handled the questions after...he was complaining to his team about not being in Beijing but quickly got his game face on for the interview.
