Real question. What is Iowa doing different from other schools with rev share $? Is Iowa not doing revenue sharing as a whole? Or just none for wrestling?
It's also a very efficient way to destroy recruiting.

Hopefully Beth gives wrestling a good amount of rev share $. Yes Iowa opted into revenue sharing as a whole. This was the first year of rev share so what other programs are doing with the $ hasn't been revealed yet. I know Iowa st received 1 million and are using it since NIL Go isn't allowing big $ to wrestlers . ADs from other universities have commented on what programs would receive rev share and in wrestling Ohio St and Michigan ADs didn't mention wrestling. But Iowa did mention wrestling would receive rev share.

Seems to me nobody here has any clue why Beth apparently didn't provide rev share $ to wrestling. Could have been as simple as the U had yet to develop a clear plan, so easy to just initially give to fb and bb. Now, if I knew she gave a bunch to the rowing team and none to wrestling, that would seemingly say alot about her wrestling/Brands priority, no offense to rowing enthusiasts. But alas, we have no details here.
Correct, but it undoubtedly put Iowa wrestling at a pretty sizeable disadvantage when all money paid to the wrestlers has to come through donations instead of a sizeable chunk from revenue sharing. Go ahead and tell me I'm just making exuses for Brands now (not you Trapper). Maybe Bob and Corby do know a little factual information?!

I understand the reason it will not be at the end of this season as it makes a lot of sense for Beth to punt for 1 more year, but how confident are you at the end of next season? I believe its an absolute certainty.
Iowa will still be pretty good next year. They will finish 3-6 and have a decent dual meets record. This is the new normal and it isn't changing anytime soon without drastic changes in leadership. It is a two horse race until Iowa decides it is time to engage for real. tOSU could sneak a 2/ND place in this year but DT is going to pass them and everyone who isn't PSU. The old ways are just that. Old.

1. I don’t hardly ever remember Corby posting much while VHS was on here but once the ban hammer came down Corby is posting about as frequently as VHS was.
2. Trying to validate himself by claiming all these coaches call him to ask advice
is like claiming you wrestled for a team you never did to try and validate yourself.
im no Sherlock Holmes but that’s enough clues for me to link the two together lol
