Win is a win so happy to get out of there tonight. Hopefully Pat is ready to go Saturday because that game will be extremely hard to win without him.

The Foster we saw tonight is the one we need to make it to Indy. And boy we miss Pat. These last two games have proven just how important he is to our success on both ends.

Yup. Pat catches some criticism but he’s so very important. As much as I love Maliq, he’s so much better off the bench. Pats passing I think is what’s missed more than anything for a 6’10 kid.

Maliq is good but geez he picks up dumb fouls especially when everyone knows we don't have a third big tonight. His third and fourth fouls were so unnecessary. I'm assuming that was the reason he didn't start the second half to save him from picking up his third foul too early.

As much as I like Maliq he is offensely challenged to put it mildly. He's a perfect 15 mpg guy. After that it gets dodgy. Plus he has become foul prone.

This team is greater than the sum of its parts, so missing 1 key guy (Pat is our 2nd or 3rd best player) can be trouble. We have had amazing injury luck so far.

Will never understand how we didn’t go secure another perimeter scorer/shooter knowing Cam Boozer was coming to Durham. The floor is only going to continue to shrink for him in March.

I think Cowards last minute decision really surprised Jon more than he’s leading on. I’d wager he felt strongly he would be in Durham. I love Sarr’s length (6’7 w/ a 6’11 wingspan) and there are games where he completely takes the opponents best player out, but Coward would have been a pretty significant upgrade.

With the news of us losing out on Jordan Smith, I do hope Jon brings in a pure shooter from the portal.

I thought it was the same hand?

It just occurred to me that it is the other hand that is injured, and not the one that has been wrapped most of the season.

I remembered because we've wondered if the wrap was affecting his FT shooting.

The left hand is the one that has the huge bandage it hard cast on it now.
