Man, that was much ado about nothing. After this thread, I actually watched it. Some of yall made it out to be Marilyn Manson…it was just a normal half time show…pretty well done too.
Visually well done. And even though it was mostly Spanish, it was a step up from last years unintelligible crap show.

I agree except I don't speak Spanish. I don't think you can call it normal. Well done yes.

wonder why?
Because we’re geographically directly north of an entire continent of Spanish speakers that our government spent the better part of the last century destabilizing in the interest of geopolitical feuds and corporate interests and people leave those places looking for an opportunity to work and raise their families in a land of peace and opportunity.

I understsnd that. Just saying that a Spanish spoken show has not been the norm. Not sure how thats debatble.
Oh yeah, it’s definitely a departure from the usual, just adding some context to the business decision for the NFL.

Very weird approach to music.

I saw Brandi Carlisle in Greenville about 10 years ago and she was excellent.
I used to like David Bowie and the Rolling Stones until I found out David Bowie and Mick Jagger were bisexual. Sucks I have to let them go now, but after 60 years of their deviant agenda being shoved in our faces, I think it's time. Sad!

This dude literally had Nicki Minaj in the Oval Office last week. The hypocrisy with these snowflakes is always the worst.

For those wondering, here is Nicki's relevant data:

  • Not a US citizen
  • Married to a registered sex offender who tried to rape a 14 yo
  • Has a brother who is in jail for raping an 11 yo
  • Known for WAP (Wet A*s P*ssy) collaboration with Cardi B
  • Known for performing onstage while wearing a giant d**do as part of her costume and simulating sex acts with dancers

So MAGA, I’m dying to know, did Kid Rock play “Cool Daddy Cool” during the Epstein Bowl Halftime show?

If you’re drawing a blank, it’s one of his great conservative family values song that includes this “Amen”-worthy gem:

“Young ladies, young ladies, I like 'em underage, see
Some say that's statutory (But I say it's mandatory)
My story ain't that complex, two forties and a Rolex
I rip, I rock, I roll, G, I trim my hair with the Flowbee
Got soul, G, like Al Green, co-coolin' like the A-Team
From Maine to San Francisco, I'm shootin' like a pistol
I'm so slick, I'm Crisco, daddy likes to disco.”

No wonder him and the Don get along so well!

This ones called “WCSR”
I'm on a private jet out of J-F-K
Sipping a vex, feeling a-o-k
Looked across the aisle and who did I see
Bill motherfucking Clinton sitting next to me
We kicked it, talked, had a couple of laughs
The stewardess walked up, asked us for our autographs
I thought I was mack and I gave her two free shirts
Bill stuck five fingers up in her skirt
So I stuck five, and that made ten
****, two roosters and only one hen
Billy winked at me, it was all too sweet
We tag-teamed that freak at thirty-thousand feet, haha

Didn't read thru 10 pages of resposnes

I’m 37 and lean right. So I’m rather young and I’m the demographic that the NFL tried to appease to now in terms of the halftime show with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop, Usher, Rhianna, JLo/Shakira… I’m sure I’m forgetting people. None of these shows really wow me but I’m also not a huge concert person.

That said, Bad Bunny was a really strange choice to me. He appeals to the younger demographic and the growing international audience the NFL is attracting, but he is far too controversial for my liking as a choice.

I also think the TI fanbase isn’t really the most diverse in thoughts or opinions (except regarding our lack of recruiting strategy at times lol). I mean no disrespect but I mean, there was a poll the other day about where we live and most of the responses stated they lived in SC. It’s not a state where people travel internationally as much as other states based on stats. All that to say, people that rob weren’t going to be open to hearing him and made up their mind about the halftime show right when it was announced, for better or worse.

I also don’t love how he said people should learn Spanish? But I’m for a message of love - although I find it hypocritical he’s burned flags before.

All that to say, the NFL could’ve made a better choice, yet it wouldn’t hurt TI to listen to some new music every now and then because statistically, this artist was def up there in hits (surprised how many people are refuting that he’s well known)

Best I can find is that he joked that people have 4 months to learn Spanish if they wanted to understand what he was saying during his performance.

And the flag thing, as heavily reported, is AI, he's never burned a flag.

I’m 38 and I’ve got some bad news for you brother.
I also don’t love how he said people should learn Spanish?
That’s not really what he said. He said he wasn’t interested in making music in English because he wanted to make music for the culture he comes from instead of changing to appeal more to a white English speaking audience.

Agree with a lot of the other stuff you said though.
