We missed lot of shots inside second half. But Carolina played second half committing 1 foul. Like to see replay on Boozer layup
I will paraphrase the rule, but it says that any crowd members or unauthorized individuals coming onto or rushing the court with time remaining on the clock is considered a technical foul (or administrative foul) for disruption of play/crowd interference. This penalty allows the opposing team to shoot free throws.

We went cold, and foul trouble hurt our bigs. I felt there would be an advantage for the holes by the refs, but I didn’t think it would be this bad. Not trying to whine, but it was one sided. But, Ngongba and Brown have to be a little bit smarter too. A few of those fouls by Ngongba were silly. He has to know he is needed on the court. Veesar wouldn’t have had the half he did had those two not been in the situation they put the team in. We also can’t have Evans going 4-14.
I felt we needed a game where things didn’t go our way, but we still win. That didn’t happen. Hope they are more hungry from here on in.

We're super talented so we're going to win 90% of our games. It's just frustrating to repeatedly see iso ball at the end of games that doesn't work 75%of the time. We still have a great shot at a one seed. But we need to win games by 10 points I said this last year as well. A lot of our shots late were fade aways or avoiding contact you will not draw fouls that way. that said the sun will come up tomorrow and next play.
I think this team will be motivated and it’s what they needed from starters to the bench. But I don’t blame the refs but come on 7-1 in fouls in the second half shows bias . Hope the holes enjoy their win because we will double the win margin in Cameron and beyond . Storming the court seriously . We were their championship game tonight .scheyer needs to light the fire now ! That’s two games Duke had no buisness loosing !

Think that last play was fine for Boozer. I'm sure Jon would take that one on one match up of boozer vs veesaar every time. Looked like Boozer should've made it but others have said on here that it was a foul. I haven't rewatched the play to determine if he was fouled.
A play or two before that we ran the slip screen with boozer and Evans and it looked like Evans had a shot but he didn't take it for some reason

Bilas even said there was contact on Boozer’s last shot. For him to say that means he was fouled.
We should have put the game away. Leaving it to the last minute leaves too much to chance. Learn from it. Took a perfect storm for us to lose. But the tournament can be that way too. If it makes us a better team ten in a few months it won't matter.
Boozer’s push on Veesar rebound that went off Veesar and gave ball back to duke. Two calls on Trimble steals that weren’t really fouls. Point is bad calls go both ways. Duke has been given the ref benefit of the doubt for so long you have come to expect it. Wilson is best player on floor. Duke the better team. Didn’t go duke’s way tonight. Saw part of Coach Scheyer press conference in which he stated staffers were punched in the face. If so what a piss poor effort by UNC stadium staff and the low class fans they have.
Davis has the two biggest wins in the entire rivalry. No Duke or UNC win bigger than K’s last 2 games. Doesn’t mean this game saves his job.

Not being a dick. UNC fans don’t feel Davis can recruit well enough or coach well enough to maintain the program at historical levels and to date he hasn’t. Scheyer has been the better coach. uNC caught lightening in a bottle in his first year but we have been on the bubble since, or not made the tournament. That hasn’t been the case with Duke. This game doesn’t change much. We will be a 5 / 6 seed with a generational player. Duke will be a 1 / 2 seed and is a FF contender. We won tonight and will enjoy and will give you guys a hard time for a couple weeks but we see the coaching limitations
It’s not all about recruits anymore. Now there’s tons of transfers. And you’ve guys got some this year. UNC was a 1 seed just a couple years ago, so yes Hubert can build a big time roster.
