I don't think that was a takedown... Ugh.
Not even close to getting it right. Reaction time is a thing, and Fishback wasn't even behind the hips.
Are you guys honestly saying it’s not a takedown. Reverse the sides and you want the call every time
What did you see to make you think that, never got behind, Gabe blocked him with his leg, whole thing was a continuous motion.
Sitting next to a guy that refs high school. I realize that this is college and rules are different but he says no way should the call have been changed. No way was Fishback in scoring position.
Gabe needs to be able to shoot a clean take down and not depend on counters all the time.

I said I agree it was probably a bad call...but Gabe is winning or losing 4-1, and sometimes you lose when you make every match close
Easy call. Control, supporting points, reaction time.
Unfortunate part is that it could be the difference in the dual. It was that big of a call.
Live I thought it was 3 for Fishback but once they let it go and gave 3 to Gabe that should have been what they stuck with. There wasn't anything definitive enough to reverse it.

No way that was a takedown. In real time I thought for sure it was a takedown but the replay clearly showed Gabes leg over the top plus reaction time that was no way a takedown and I don’t care what some Gopher fan thinks either!
