Still no Joey O, as I mentioned earlier this week Goodale can smile and say Joey will be back soon all he wants but I really don’t think he has a clue when or if he ll be back

I mean he was saying the same thing back in December, it’s February now. Big Tens start a month from tomorrow. I hope he makes it back and don’t have a problem with Goodale being optimistic but the clock is ticking and at this point what version of Joey are we getting if/when he does return.
Well he's training daily and it's not an injury so he should be fine .
How is it possible that there was no length of suspension, or a date to return from the beginning? The only thing I can come up with is that something had to be performed or completed. Or, maybe, a legal issue to be resolved.
So that means he won’t be back for tonight’s match against Minny? We need him for any chance.. slim as it may be..
If Joey doesn’t compete in any Big Ten bouts, where will he be seated at the Big Ten championships? What is the seating criteria?
Well I read yesterday that one of the new criteria’s for the big ten seeding involves punishing guys for missing matches , injuries,ducking suspension,weight issues don’t matter. If that seeding information is correct it’s likely he’ll be the last or one of the last seeds
He hasn’t wrestled a competitive match in 2 months ,a bunch of 3rd stringers at the Bloomsburg open are not going to prepare you for a stacked 141 at big tens, neither will beating up on Gibson and Clark in the room for 2 months I think it’s reasonable to worry how prepared he’ll be for the postseason.
Hoepfully it motivates him and he realizes he needs to be AGGRESSIVE early in matches.
Fortunately, 141 is one of the weakest weight classes in the Big Ten. It may not have a big impact.
Hes currently looking at 12-14 seed, i think as of right now Vombear will be the 3 seed ,Bailey the 4 and Davis the 5 so one of those guys in the prequarters.. If he’s the 14 seed he’ll have to beat the Davis /Bailey loser in wrestlebacks just to place in the top 8. I wouldn’t favor him over any of those guys even if he was competing all year
The top 5 seeds are all Americans,the current number 5 seed is a big ten champ I wouldn’t call that weak
I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. Hes training and on the mat. A guy like Cannon is sitting and healing up he's probably gonna be rusty
Do you have any idea how many bids the big ten will get at 141 ? Davis, Ragusin, Oliveri all Wrestled partial seasons
It said same thing last week for Rider and they bumped up Ford so who knows. Im fine with Ford. Pinto isnt the future.
Anyone else with season green lot parking get bumped to yellow for this match like we did?
