Yes they did. So can anyone else if you have the funds and the willInteresting thought. I don't think you are saying this, but did Indiana buy a natty?

I don't agree. Back in the big 8, I rooted for every conference team except when we played them. Made us betterWho cares. A school in a conference that isn't the school you cheer for winning a national championship doesn't make your school look better. I hate this cheering for a conference crap. A true fan hates their conference rivals and doesn't want to see them succeed.
Yes.Who tf cares. We arent a part of said greatness. I dont give two f's if the B1G hoists the crown if it isnt Nebraska. And seeing as how Nebraska is clearly never winning one again, I genuinely dont care if the B1G never wins another title.
Good observation. Cigs, the team, the Athletic Departments all seem focused on making this a program for the long haul.I admit im a bit skeptical of Indianas run. I have a hard time believing Cignetti just figured out the game of football in a way no one else has. But I may be underselling the talent level they had. On paper it wasnt much, but they sure played great. Who knows. Maybe 10 yeads from now it turns out that roster was filled with pro bowl talent. We shall see.
The more I look at it, im convinced. Cignetti's big master plan is more obvious than I thought...his team was just NFL ageGood observation. Cigs, the team, the Athletic Departments all seem focused on making this a program for the long haul.
IU's stadium capacity is only 53K. Create the demand and deliver the supply. I assume you will stadium upgrades soon.
Get these while they’re hot, pedo loving B1G fans!
Nebraska would certainly be more competitive there. The B1G is the toughest conference in college football. NU will continue to be embarrassed there until they actually get a good head coach.I would kill to be back in the Big 12.
No, I don't care about "muh revenue share" and it's weird you do.
Might be sooner than we think If Rhule has a losing season.Nebraska would certainly be more competitive there. The B1G is the toughest conference in college football. NU will continue to be embarrassed there until they actually get a good head coach.
And who knows when that will be.
I would kill to be back in the Big 12.

^^^^The speculation is the B12 might get dropped from Fox on the updated TV deals and be playing on TNT/CW. If you want to be looking for games on Tru TV or TBS I guess be my guest but I'll stick with the mostly national over the air slate in the Big Ten. The Big Ten isn't perfect and hates Nebraska imo, partially our own fault for not bringing anything to the table since joining, but it's better than the leftovers in the new B12.
Nah, I would just pirate the games. College football is really easy to find. The speculation is the B12 might get dropped from Fox on the updated TV deals and be playing on TNT/CW. Hell yeah! The Big 10 is a "tougher" conference. No doubt. But the Big 12 has rebounded from what looked like total destruction to a pretty deep conference. NU might fare a little better in the Big 10, but the revenue loss would be pretty dramatic. And the revenue from the football program also funds most other sports at Nebraska. What we need, and in my opinion we do not currently have is an AD who has any clue whatsoever about how to begin to rebuild the football program. And with a stadium project in the picture, and a program that seems to have leveled off we need strong and competent leadership. We are never going to win the NIL battle. Ohio State took in roughly double our 150 million in revenue. Indiana has Mark Cuban. Oregon has Phil Knight. Etc......
The only way to move the program back toward the top third in the league is by outworking our opponents. Working smarter. In my opinion that starts with player development and strength training. This next season should give us a pretty good idea of where we are in both areas. If we have a team that gets pushed around in league play and ran over like the past few years then we will know for sure that needs to be job #1. We also will have an idea about how the new staff hires are doing. I do not think the final won lost record is the only important metric, but by God you better beat Iowa and not get blown out of games. We also need a head coach who can "read the room" as far as what works and does not work in the B1G, we are not at Baylor anymore. Why it took 3 years to figure out the 3-3-5 will not work in this league without elite talent is unforgivable. Matt needs to step his game up. 19-19 after three years puts you squarely in Mike Riley territory. It better be all hands on deck this spring. I do not want to hear our DC ***** about players not being willing to tackle after game 8 this year. Or players not understanding their assignments. These are two prime indicators that the staff is failing. And it has to stop.
