Not the best called game for sure but the refs didn't cost us this game...at all.
KF played 35 minutes...and didn't score.
I believe every one of her shots was a wide open look.
But she did contribute to the turnover tally.
That's one of the seniors JJ trusts.

Probably the worst home loss in the last five years, at least.
Man we have absolutely sucked since McCabe has been out. Who knew how valuable she was.
Our starting 2 guard has now gone 58 minutes without scoring a point.

It’s hard enough watching the women’s game then throw in officials that really don’t have a clue how to officiate, making it damn near unbearable.
The only positive tonite is JJ figured out that Maĺlegni isn't gonna contribute this year.
Spare me the holier than thou crap. Every time we got it to 10 the refs manufactured a momentum changing call.
Now we cut it to 8 but it doesn’t matter because 2 starters are fouled out. It is what it is.

JJ needs to find a way to get Houston more minutes. Unfortunately, she’s the third option for the two 4 & 5 positions.
She’s younger and Iowa is a better job (or was) at the time Lisa retired. People have said she wants to come back to Iowa.
Can't get hammered on the boards this bad by a team shooting this good and expect to win.
Just think if Iowa had a 2 guard that could get 5 ppg

She's trying too hard to be neutral on the calls, talking about how good the refs are when you know she knows better.....
My confidence in JJ and her game management is also dropping like a rock, IMO she worries way too much about being liked by her players.
And she was up in the air when the girl slid under her. Worst call of the night..
Houston and Kylie are both guards. I'm obviously not a bb coach. Why would Houston not be getting more minutes? Her stats and contributions are waaay above Kylie.

Another crap call as well. Both players tangled up and we get the foul....Deal managed to foul out and only played 18 minutes.

Yep, you are probably correct, if she plays her now, it just shows that she messed up. I really thought that she was ready after the roadtrip, I was wrong. Then again, what did Jan do right tonight?
Refs definitely missed some calls but we were not good tonight either. Every game we lose it's the refs fault...better?
